1. Who we are

Security Camera Serve is an independent third-party service provider that offers setup guidance, configuration assistance, and ongoing support for consumer Wi-Fi security cameras. We are not affiliated with, owned by, or endorsed by Blink, Amazon, Ring, Arlo, Google Nest, or any other camera manufacturer. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit this website or contact our team, and how we use it.

2. Information we collect

Contact details you share with us — when you call, chat, or email, you may give us your name, phone number, email address, mailing area, and details about the cameras you own or want to install.

Website usage data — our servers log basic technical information such as browser type, device type, approximate location based on IP, pages viewed, and timestamps. This is used for analytics and security.

Cookies & similar technologies — we use a small number of first-party cookies to remember your preferences and to measure traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time.

What we do NOT collect — we never request access to your camera feeds, recordings, account passwords for camera apps, or video footage of any kind.

3. How we use information

We use the information above only to: respond to your support request, recommend a suitable camera or accessory, schedule a follow-up call, improve our website, and comply with applicable law. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us operate (for example, phone routing, analytics, and email tools), and only to the extent necessary. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

5. Third-party platforms

Once a camera is set up, your video, recordings, account, and settings are stored by the camera manufacturer's own cloud service under their privacy terms. Security Camera Serve has no access to and is not responsible for those platforms. Please review each brand's privacy policy directly.

6. Data retention

We keep call notes and contact details only for as long as we need them to provide ongoing support, typically up to 24 months from your last interaction, after which we delete or anonymize them.

7. Your choices

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or opt out of marketing follow-ups, by calling (888) 510-7973 or emailing the address listed on our contact page. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Children

This website and our services are intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Security

We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you share with us. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
